I feel extremely lucky to have a house with a garden and enough rooms to be able to move some of my chemicals here at home.
My studio is in the centre of Brussels and in theory I could still go there with bike, but with my daughter’s school closed, I rather stay home and enjoy time with her and my partner. (I hope they feel the same.. 😂)
On the money side is a disaster as of many of us. Just managed to pay the rent of the studio for April, I have no idea at the moment how I will manage to pay the next months. I had to cancel several workshops, portrait sessions and all the other commissions that were kind of vital for me.. and just a week before the lockdown I had the opening of a very important exhibition that took about 3 months to prepare, a big investment in time and money that unfortunately won’t really give me back what expected. I’m very bad with numbers and money and I never managed to create enough buffer to cover such a dramatic change. Lesson learned..

That said, Moo Pa you’re right. Better being in debt that being dead.

And thanks to all the people here, moral support and a place to share our stories is so important these days!
