Oh what a lovely group! I am sharing a bright, first floor flat with my housemate. This is our 4th week. No outdoor space but I now consider my windowsill as important outdoor space, and I have spent a lot of the past sunny days sitting on it, thinking, reading, or drinking coffee! We are lucky that we're both able to leave the house occasionally, and we work from home (side by side in the lounge) so the money will keep coming in. The kitchen has become both a socialising space (lots of cooking going on!) and a conference/meeting room. We've adapted. It is hard and sad and upsetting on so many levels, but there is also something I really appreciate: the freedom to feel whatever we all feel whenever we feel it, the acceptance that things will have to wait or be accommodated for in different ways, that there are some new/other priorities. I have also felt a compulsive need to document and record what is happening. Lots of pictures (of not very much) and writing, and new exciting artistic opportunities.
