I love seeing all the fabulous art on here. I’m currently in lockdown with my husband in Asturias, Northern Spain. We came out end of January to escape our house renovation in Cornwall. We feel fortunate to be in a beautiful rural location, outside a small village, so naturally isolated. We have a field in front of the house & lovely walk down a long lane & forest behind where we walk our lab x collie Gylly, & Jono photographs the wildlife. Jono has type 1 diabetes & therefore high risk. He works from home so we are lucky as he’s able to continue & I’m feltmaking & weaving most days. I will post a photo soon of my latest project... bit slow moving at the moment as managed to burn my leg and foot badly with a pot of hot coffee 🤦🏼‍♀️ Looking forward to returning home eventually but just going with the flow & trying not to get stressed.

I use natural materials, merino, alpaca, plant and silk fibres which are hand dyed in my Falmouth studio. I also incorporate recycled silk and linen, giving a new lease of life to pre-loved fabrics. My clothing is seamless, no sewing required! I only use the sewing machine to further embellish pieces with free motion embroidery or appliqué and often use vintage buttons and found objects such as sea glass and shells to give the pieces personality. Everything I make is unique and it’s especially lovely if I meet the person who falls in love with, and invests in, my wearable art. One of a kind, as are we individuals.
